Nobody can deny the beauty of North Georgia – from the sunsets to the mountains, this area really has it all. But if you’re looking for a venue with less rustic charm than what you’ll see on the average Google search, I am going to let you in on a little secret….I have photographed MANY of these wedding venues as a North Georgia Wedding Photographer, and I have my favorites. 🙂 So here is my quick list of gorgeous North Georgia Wedding Venues…that are not barns.
A self proclaimed “Boutique-Style” venue, the award winning Cowan Historic Mill is the perfect fit for an elegant wedding. This venue blends an industrial and modern style, and because it is locally owned and operated, you get a team who treats you like family.
Summerour Studio is such a unique venue, boasting a “breathtaking skyline view of Atlantic Station and Midtown” on the westside of Atlanta. Its courtyard is reminiscent of a Tuscan villa, with tons of greenery and romantic charm, blending modern elements into a venue that is all style and grace.
The Venue at the Bluffs has some of the most picturesque views of the North Georgia mountains from their greenhouse ceremony space, blending natural beauty into the fabric of your wedding day. I cannot talk enough about how gorgeous the sun shining on this venue is – you’ll have to see it for yourself!
Cator Woolford Gardens looks stunning from spring through fall with its secluded gardens right in the heart of Georgia. The intimacy of this venue is highlighted by their impressive, Italian-styled gardens. It is truly an unforgettable experience every time I photograph couples here!
The State Botanical Gardens of Georgia has so many locations to host your ceremony and reception, which is why it totally deserves a spot on this list. Their gardens are everything you’d want for a garden party wedding: natural, lush, curated, and polished.
The Swan House is a beautiful historic mansion nestled in the heart of Atlanta with gardens capable of hosting a large guest count. I love having my couples pose on the staircases leading down to the courtyard – they are such a romantic backdrop for your love story!
I absolutely love the old money charm of Wildflower 301. They really have thought of everything here, from the stunning outdoor gardens, indoor reception areas, and getting ready suites to the extra amenities you can add to personalize your day.
Montaluce Vineyard and Winery is a totally surprising venue in North Georgia – it is literally all the feels of a Tuscan winery, perfect for a destination wedding without leaving the state! The vineyards are stunning in season, but there is so much more to charm and atmosphere discover across the sprawling estate.
Sophistication is the best way to describe the Piedmont Room and Gardens – it is modern elegance and natural beauty all in one. There are several luxurious spaces, both indoor and outdoor, to host your ceremony and reception. We love a beautiful brick courtyard!
Callanwolde is another beautiful, historic mansion in Atlanta, but this venue is all about the craftsmanship. There are terraces, fountains, archways, and even a grand staircase perfect for your reveal to friends and family.
